Dronpoint was created to solve a simple but frustrating problem: planning complex drone missions should be intuitive, fast, and universally compatible. Whether you are a real estate photographer mapping a property, an enthusiast capturing dynamic spiral shots, or an enterprise pilot surveying a grid, Dronpoint provides the tools to design perfect flight paths right from your browser. Beyond mission planning, Dronpoint also brings AI-powered solar panel inspection to anyone with a standard RGB drone camera — no thermal equipment required.

The Story Behind the App

Dronpoint is developed and maintained by Petr Tomicek, an indie developer and drone enthusiast based in the Czech Republic. Frustrated by the limitations of existing mobile apps and overly complex enterprise software, the goal was to build a web-based planner that bridges the gap between professional capabilities and user-friendly design.

Today, Dronpoint allows pilots to seamlessly calculate snake paths, orbit layers, and precise waypoint missions, and export them directly to industry-standard formats like Litchi CSV or DJI KMZ.
